As of the start of December, the Istria Tourist Board revealed compelling data on overnight stays from January to November 2023.

The figures reached an impressive 29,966,008 officially registered stays. With December’s numbers set to surpass 100,000 stays, 2023 is gearing up to conclude with a record-breaking 30 million overnight stays in Istria! What’s even more remarkable is that no other region in Croatia boasts such an influx of visitors.

Extended Stays: A Win for Villa Owners

One key takeaway from the statistics is the average length of stay, clocking in at over 6 nights.

This is fantastic news for us, as villa owners, as longer stays translate to reduced costs and higher returns on our investment. Unlike short-term rentals in bustling cities, our Istrian villas are attracting guests seeking an extended retreat.
