The park has over 1.5 km of paths, life-size electric dinosaurs, amusement rides for small children, and a small farm where kids can ride ponies, it also has regular shows throughout the day.
See the Sea
As you might expect from a coastal region, Istria also does aquariums quite well.
You’ll find them in Umag, Rovinj, Poreg and Pula, all showcasing fish and plant life from the Adriatic Sea. If you are to choose one of many in Istria, then Pula aquarium is highly recommended.
“The Aquarium is placed in fort Verudela, part of the once powerful “Fortress Pula” of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The historical fort is revived and enriched by more than 200 species of marine and freshwater fish, reptiles and amphibians. Meet our inhabitants in rooms, hallways, tunnels and moat of the once mighty fort and discover secrets of the aquatic environment!”
