
E-mobility expanding in Croatia, electric cars and charging stations arrived.

The interest from Croatia’s Minister of Environment increased the media coverage nationally and internationally.
The couple and the rally also incentivized the Croatian Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund to invest on e-mobility.

“The country will get 133 electric and 1 plug-in cars, 224 electric bikes and 56 electric motorcycles in the next six months.
The public invitation for individuals, closed just one day after it was opened due to strong interest. It resulted in the approval of 1.62 million euros, including 1.4 million for electric cars, 126.000 for bicycles, and 70.000 for motorcycles.
Depending on the type of vehicles being bought, individuals can receive from 670 to €10,700 euros and the vehicles can be financed with loans or through leasing.
Croatia has dedicated incentives of up to 3.3 million euros for citizens and businesses interested in buying electric vehicles.
The incentives for EVs are rare in the regions of:
- Albania,
- Kosovo,
- Macedonia,
- Bosnia,
- Herzegovina,
- Montenegro,
- Serbia
Do not offer them, unlike all neighbouring EU countries.
