Croatia on the Davis Cup finals
This year, Croatia is playnig on the finals of the tournament against France, on the 23 of november at the Stade Pierre Mauroy, Lille, France.
According to the official tennis world cup website, Davis Cup, BNP Paribas:
“France has enjoyed another excellent year with strong victories over Netherlands in Albertville, Italy in Genoa and Spain in Lille.”
“Croatia’s path to the final began with comfortable victories against Canada in Osijek and Kazakhstan in Varazdin, before thwarting a comeback by USA in the semifinals in Zadar, where Borna Coric won a decisive fifth rubber to secure Zeljko Krajan’s team a final berth for the third time in its history.
Krajan’s men must now travel away from home for the first time this year, and their recent history on the road indicates they will not let the French home crowd intimidate them – the Croatians have not lost away from home since 2015.”
