Large investment didn’t only built a bridge, but also a door
A large investment from a Chinese contractor with a Croatian Public Roads Company took place in Croatia at the end of July 2018, the project was to build Peljesac bridge.
2.08 billion kuna worth of investments for the construction contract, the European Union financed part of the investment necessary for the building of the bridge which covers the majority of the costs for this project.
Since then, the interest of China in Croatia has increased. After this, many other investments came aboard, for example, a hotel in Kaprina which worth 30 million euro, followed by prospective three or four more investments worth three billion kuna.
