Teran
It is one of the most famous reds around Istria, and a few really good wineries located in the peninsula produce really high quality Teran. This wine is rather dry and robust, matching perfectly with meat, prosciutto, cheese or an Istrian starter.
Chardonnay
Chardonnay, is a very flexible white wine. There are a lot of bottles of rich flavoured and bodied Chardonnay wine But in fact the grape itself is quite neutral, leaving the wine maker free to ad flavours and notes with the cask or other methods.
