Visit the northeast part of the region and<strong> take a train to visit 3 wineries <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.istra.hr\/en\/events\/21743\">Novigrad-Cittanova Wine Trail | Calendar of events in Istria (istra.hr)<\/a>. In late summer, during the harvest, take part in the ritual and volunteer to <strong>pick grapes<\/strong>. On <strong>November 11 <\/strong>join locals of <strong>Svt. Martin<\/strong> to honor the patron saint of winemakers, Saint Martin. In May explore northern Istria at the <strong>Buje Wine and Walk<\/strong> event. Each year they bring together <strong>over 100 Istrian wine producers <\/strong>to promote, judge, and recognize their outstanding quality and production. The grapes will be ready for harvest and the sun will be mild.
