With the winter coming during the months of September to November, Istria offers 10 weekends of Truffle days in a village called Livade.<\/strong> The truffles delicacies spread all over the peninsula, together with other gastronomic products, such as prosciutto, wine, cheese and etc.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the beginning of spring seasons you can visit the Asparagus Festival, the star of this festival is the wild asparagus,<\/strong>\u00a0it can be either served in a fritaja, soup, risotto, pasta or combined with meat and fish, and the duration of this festival is March 21 to May 13.<\/span><\/p>\n

Motovun is the capital of truffle, in fact, the largest white truffle in the world was found in the forest of this town, in 1999 and it still holds its record. Food lovers from all over the world are surely attracted to this town, however Motovun is also scenery rich.<\/strong><\/p>\n
