It is not news that the main industry and sector that receives more investments currently in Croatia is tourism, showing amazing numbers that constantly increase yearly. For that reason, plenty of investments are moving towards Croatia\u2019s tourism.\u00a0<\/span>However, the country is aware of other sectors that are growing interest for large amounts of investments, for example:<\/p>\n

DAMAC was the first real estate company from the Middle East to list on the London Stock Exchange and they raised 379 million US dollar in the form of an IPO.<\/span><\/p>\n

Valamar, a large investment group that operates in Croatia, plans to invest <\/span>2 more billion kunas by 2020 <\/b>in real estate in Croatia, being <\/span>95 mln only in 2018.<\/b><\/p>\n

Banking<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Industrial and <\/span>Commercial Bank of China has set up a 11 billion dollars fund to invest in Central and Eastern Europe<\/b>. If you fit this money in a room it would probably reach the ceiling.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently the fund invests in projects in Poland, however the fund has <\/span>already contacted the Croatian government with a request of presenting them some companies to invest in or projects.<\/b><\/p>\n

Also, over 65 mln euro, spent on a resort and marina “Sveta Katarina – Monumenti<\/a>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

In June 2018, one of Croatia\u2019s leading wine producers Roxanich invested <\/span>11 mln euro in a world class winery +<\/b>. The winery includes a hotel, restaurant, multi-purpose hall, wellness, lounge bar and nightclub, so that the guests of your villa will also enjoy this world class winery.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, Maistra hotel group – one the biggest real estate investment group in Europe – finished its <\/span>investment worth around 80 mln euro (600 million kunas) in Rovigno.<\/b><\/p>\n

But the new sector Croatia is aiming on investing is the health sector.<\/strong> The Croatian Medical Group has as a goal to get 3.8 billion to start increasing the health tourism in Croatia.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Miljenko Bura of the medical group expressed that<\/strong>\u00a0“Because Croatia is full of natural resources and pure gives the country a huge potential for health tourism also.”<\/span><\/p>\n
